Ingredients

  • Cauliflower:
  • 1 large head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Korean Chili Sauce:
  • ¼ cup gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (optional)
  • Garnish (optional):
  • Sesame seeds
  • Sliced green onions

Instructions

  1. Prep the Cauliflower
Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Toss cauliflower florets with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Air Fry
Arrange cauliflower in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway, until golden and crispy.
  3. Make the Sauce
While cauliflower cooks, whisk together gochujang, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger in a small bowl.
  4. Toss and Finish
Transfer hot cauliflower to a bowl and toss with Korean chili sauce until evenly coated.
  5. Serve
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, cook cauliflower without sauce, then toss right before serving.
  • Adjust spice level by using less gochujang or adding honey.
  • Works great as a vegan main, appetizer, or taco filling.
  • Best enjoyed fresh but can be reheated in the air fryer.
