Ingredients

  • 16 oz cheese-stuffed gnocchi (store-bought)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 10 oz mushrooms, sliced (cremini, baby bella, or button)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup vegetable or chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or basil, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Gnocchi
    Cook gnocchi according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté Mushrooms
    Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    Add mushrooms and cook 5–6 minutes until golden and tender.
  3. Add Garlic & Seasoning
    Stir in garlic, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Make the Sauce
    Pour in cream and broth. Season with salt and pepper.
    Simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Combine
    Add gnocchi and Parmesan cheese. Gently toss to coat.
  6. Serve
    Garnish with fresh herbs and extra Parmesan.
