Ingredients

  • ¼ cup brown sugar

  • ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:
    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients:
    In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cream Butter and Sugar:
    In a separate large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add Wet Ingredients:
    Mix in egg, Greek yogurt, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Combine:
    Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  6. Shape Cookies:
    Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake:
    Bake for 12–14 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
  8. Cool:
    Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
