Garlic Butter Cheeseburger Rollups

These garlic butter cheeseburger rollups take everything you love about a classic cheeseburger and wrap it into a golden, buttery bite.

Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Rollups:
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough or pizza dough
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • Optional Toppings:
  • Dill pickle slices
  • Extra cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook the beef:
    In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir in ketchup and mustard. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. Assemble rollups:
    Roll out crescent or pizza dough and cut into 8 rectangles or strips. Spoon beef mixture onto each piece, sprinkle with cheese, and add pickles if using. Roll tightly and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  4. Garlic butter:
    Mix melted butter and minced garlic. Brush generously over rollups.
  5. Bake:
    Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Finish:
    Brush with remaining garlic butter and sprinkle with parsley.

Notes

  • Extra crispy: Bake on a wire rack set over the baking sheet.
  • Cheese swaps: American, Colby Jack, or mozzarella all work.
  • Dipping sauces: Ketchup, burger sauce, ranch, or garlic aioli.
  • Make ahead: Assemble and refrigerate up to 24 hours before baking.
