  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside to rest.

2. Cook the Pasta:

  • While the chicken is cooking, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

3. Make the Creamy Sauce:

  • In the same skillet used to cook the chicken, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for 5-7 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.

4. Add Parmesan and Seasoning:

  • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Cajun seasoning, mixing until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Adjust the seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.

5. Combine Pasta and Sauce:

  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta evenly with the creamy sauce. Slice the cooked chicken into thin strips and place them on top of the pasta.

6. Finish and Serve:

  • Stir in the butter to add a rich finish to the sauce. Garnish the dish with chopped fresh parsley and a sprinkle of lemon zest if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
