- 2 tablespoons cold butter, cubed
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix mashed bananas and melted butter.
- Stir in brown sugar, eggs, sour cream, and vanilla until smooth.
- Add flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Stir just until combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan.
Make topping: Combine sugar, cinnamon, flour, and butter. Cut together with a fork until crumbly. - Sprinkle evenly over batter.
- Bake 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in pan 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

- Use very ripe bananas (deep yellow with brown spots) for best flavor.
- Do not overmix the batter; it can make the bread dense.
